spiritualinspiration:

“Hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out within our hearts through the Holy Spirit who was given to us.” (Romans 5:5)
Even Christians can sometimes feel hopeless and powerless to overcome adversities. Maybe you feel trapped in your job, or your marriage is in trouble and there doesn’t seem to be an answer. You may have a child who is on the wrong path. Or maybe you are single and have given up any hope of ever meeting the right person. But no matter where you are, God can turn your situation around—and it could start happening today! If you believe with all your heart that God has something great around the corner for you, then hope will take over.
God’s hope is such a powerful thing that it can keep you going when practically nothing else can. That’s because God’s hope will never fail or let you down, even if everything else does.

spiritualinspiration:

Who of you by worrying can add a single hour to his life? Matthew 6:27, NIV.

Is there something that you are worrying about today? To worry means to allow something to revolve in your mind over and over again. God doesn’t want you to live worried or anxious about anything. He knows that worry steals your peace and joy. It affects every area of your life. Have you heard the saying, “Don’t worry yourself sick?” That’s because worrying affects your physical body. It affects your sleep. You won’t ever gain anything by worrying; in fact, you’ll lose precious moments that you can never get back again. The good news is that God has promised that you can have victory over worry. It starts by making the choice to trust in Him. When you cast your cares on Him, He will give you His peace.

Decide today to put an end to worry in your life. Choose to feed your faith and fill your mind with God’s promises. As you focus on God’s Word, you’ll drive out worry and fill your heart with faith and expectancy; and you’ll be empowered to move forward into the life of blessing He has in store for you!

lulz i agree with the women of faith.

Isaiah 14:27 says, “The LORD of hosts has purposed, and who will annul it?” (ESV)
God’s plan for your life can’t be stopped by a bad break, someone leaving you, an injustice or a mistake. It’s easy to think that because we aren’t where we want to be in life, or we’ve made poor decisions or faced unfortunate setbacks that God’s plans for our life are over. Nothing you have done or haven’t done can cancel you from your destiny as long as you keep God first place and continually seek Him. When you don’t see a way, God can make a way. When it looks like it’s over, God has the final say.

anonsensicalwildflower Asked: "saeng il chook ha hamnee da!!"

Answer:

 고마워!

you’re golden.

what a crazy golden birthday…

actually my day wasn’t that crazy, but it was pretty chill. i think what’s even crazier is the fact that i’m twenty.. two-zero. funny thing is, i don’t feel 20… i actually feel a lot older, but the fact that i’m no longer a teenager puts things into perspective. it wasn’t drinking the beer that i was bought today that made me feel older than my actual age, but maybe the fact that i realized that i am no longer a child, nor a teen. i am slowly on my path to becoming a man of God, whether i like it or not.

as you get older, you realize that life’s too short and there is a sense of urgency - maybe to fulfill your vocation. and throughout this past year of being 19, God has taught me who i’m called to be, and what i’m called to do. a bittersweet feeling, i would say… nah, maybe just sweet… until i hit the midlife crisis stage in life.

oh yeah, where i was going with this: i’m grateful for the many many blessings i had, not just today, but for the past year. every day is an opportunity to live it out for God, so count your blessings.

anyway… i’m excited to see what this golden year will be full of.

here’s to 20, cheers!
